    [HELP] Rear seat stuck down

    Hi guys

This morning I went to put the rear seats back to their normal position after they had been folded down so we could put some bulky stuff in the boot recently. One side came back up fine, but the other side won't.

It seems to be that the seatbelt won't release, so when you pull the seat up it stops when the seatbelt tightens

At the top of the seat the plastic retainer starts pulling out if you pull to tight.

I have tried several different ways of trying to get the seatbelt to "release", trying different angles of pulling, quick pulls, slow pulls, etc.

Any idea how I can fix it?

It might sound too obvious. But did you pull the release strap as you were lifting the rear seat?

LOL - yes, thanks. Couldn't have partially lifted it without doing that. It is definitely the seatbelt not scrolling out that is preventing the seat back from coming up.
